We are beginning our first fan project for David Thewlis! An article was released in 2004 after the release of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban; where David stated that he loves to take his iPod with him when he travels. I had an idea for a site project that David's fans could send him music for his iPod to listen to as he travels. It could be a CD of your favorite songs, or music you think David would enjoy as he travels. You may also purchase an album for David - not all contributions are required to be a mixed CD you create yourself.
If you would like to send something music-related to David aside from a CD, send me an email in advance for permission. Some fans have asked if they could send David music memorabilia.
David has stated he likes artists such as The White Stripes, The Streets, The Beatles and Eminem.
Send a letter with your CD and I'll package all of the receivements together and send it out to David's agent by June 2007. I will set up a list of the music I receive when I open the mailing date of the fan project. The list will be a way to keep track of the songs I've received from fans. This is also to insure that David doesn't receive many of the same songs or albums. You can email me at (admin@davidthewlis.net) to let me know ahead of time what songs you are planning to send to David. Please include in your email a picture or some evidence that you've purchased or mixed the album. This is so I can have confirmation that you intend on sending it, because if I don't receive your package on the mailing date, other fans have missed the chance to send one or two of the songs to David that you intended on sending.
